Absolutely great instruction. Both the Advanced Search & Seizure and Advanced Traffic Stop courses were exceptionally well presented. Zach showed a high level of confidence based off of prior real-world experience and was open to questions and topic discussions. I'd highly recommend more Officers (new and seasoned) be sent to these courses.

I liked how you didn’t just read what was in power point but used common language to explain. (Case laws) I will definitely look for more classes you teach. Zach holds a fantastic class that can be taught to beginners to officers with experience. He deep dives into cases and has a way of applying thought to future cases. Highly recommended for all levels.

Been following Blue to Gold and Miller for a while and was pumped when they were putting on a class in my area. The class was very enjoyable and had a great critical thinking format. This is a must take class for any officer or supervisor.
Zach presents what is often difficult information to digest in a clear and understandable way. Utilizing scenarios to apply topics being covered is great to help reinforce the information and drive home understanding. Really enjoyed this class!

While the federal constitution establishes the minimum protection afforded all citizens against government intrusions upon liberty and privacy interests, states are free to provide greater protections to their citizens, whether by statute or the state constitution. Many states do, in fact, provide such enhanced protections. Part of any constitutional policing program is knowing and understanding how both the federal constitution and state law apply to police procedures. Constitutional and statutory violations can cause loss of public trust, criminal evidence suppression, massive civil liability, administrative sanctions, and even criminal prosecution of law enforcement officers. This program demonstrates how knowledge of the law can be a powerful tool for achieving investigative goals and it can empower officers to attain higher ethical standards, consistent with their oaths of office, without sacrificing overall law enforcement effectiveness. This program is designed for law enforcement officers of all levels of experience and rank, from the recent academy graduate to the executive staff. It examines certain aspects of what some lawyers would call “pre-arraignment criminal procedure,” the law of criminal investigation and, in particular, what law enforcement officers can and cannot do under state and federal law. Where there is state law deviation from the federal standard, such deviation will be highlighted and emphasized so that officers understand where there are additional restrictions on their authority beyond the federal constitution.
I attended two classes. The instructor was very knowledgeable and made the courses easy to understand. I highly recommend anyone to take one of his classes.
