Pretty darn good refresher for myself as an investigator. This training was certainly geared for Road Patrol but a lot of material could be used in Investigations also.

While this was a refresher course for me, there were still things I learned. I liked the way the instructor used examples which is good for clarification on issues.
Chris was able to break things down into terms and diagrams that I had not seen before. The open dialogue also allowed for multiple questions on a wide range of topics. I just completed the Blue to Gold Traffic Stop and Arrest, Search, and Seizure course at my agency. What an absolutely phenomenonal course. I have learned more in the past two days than I did in my Police Academy. The course content was extremely applicable to our daily tasks on the street. Incredible class. I used the Search and Seizure Survival Guide for 4 years prior to this class. This class dove deeper into a crucial subject for all officers, and provided a more in depth understanding.
Mastering Search and Seizure was an eye opening class and allowed me to look at search and seizure in a new light. I had nothing to compare it to when learning about 4th amendment in the academy, but now that I have some experience it helps me know why I can do what I do.

I've been in law enforcement for 9 years now, spending the last few as an investigator. What these Blue to Gold courses are teaching me is that LEOs should be getting far more training on the law and how it can work in their favor. It's taken me this long to learn how to properly apply Miranda yet ensure that application does not destroy my investigation. Same goes for search and seizure. LEOs should be just as up to speed on case law as our DAs. This was a great course!

Amazing course. The instructor provides many details over subjects that are routine in everyday law enforcement and should be considered "Basic knowledge." but explains each topic in ways that help officers actually understand the legal reasons why they can/can't do something.
This course really enlightened me and I learned a lot of small tidbits that will help me out on the streets.

As a newer officer, this lesson answered many questions for me. Some of the information given (with case law to support) even corrects what some of my senior officers have told me is illegal (not against policy, but illegal). I would HIGHLY recommend this class to any offclicer - new, through Admin.

This 8-hour class is amazing. It is broken down into different lessons and each lesson was very informative and included case law, video break-downs/discussions and real-life scenarios. This class also has assessments after the lessons to keep the learner engaged in the class. This class is very informative and all encompassing on topics like, single purpose container doctrine, collective knowledge doctrine, how to improve your undercover investigations, use of CI's, and much more!

I just completed a two-day training in Advanced Search and Seizure and Advanced Criminal Investigations in Jackson, WY. This was by far the most entertaining and knowledgeable training I have attended in my short three years of Law Enforcement. Anthony Bandiero is very intelligent and I hope more law enforcement agencies seek him out to expand their knowledge.

I am much more confident in these areas and have a greater understanding of the legal responsibilities I have in this profession and am very grateful that this training is available! VERY highly recommended!
