Firstly I want to thank Blue to Gold and Jessica Walsh for volunteering her time which allowed for this class to be free. This class exceeded my expectations because I gained more knowledge than if I was to just read the BTG books myself . Jessica was personable, funny and I stayed engaged the whole time. I learned more about (4th amend) search and seizure and report writing than I have in previous courses all within a matter of 2 days. I highly recommend these courses!! I feel more confident in my knowledge and ability as a law enforcement officer.

I felt it was beneficial to take them back to back and I left feeling more confident in my ability to write a quality report and to testify in court. The Bulletproof court room testimony class was amazing. Jessica is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I wish this class would’ve been in the POST Academy. I feel 100% more prepared for testimony.
Was a very helpful and informative class. Used real world examples and video to explain the dos and dont when testifying. Shows how mistakes when testifying can be detrimental to your case.

I was fortunate to have Jessica assist in instructing the Bulletproof Report Writing class and instruct the Bulletproof Courtroom Testimony class presented by Blue to Gold. As the latter isn’t a class most get outside of the academy, I was grateful for the opportunity to attend. Jessica’s talent in her craft as well as her ability to engage with and captivate her audience was on full display. She was able to place the class inside the courtroom and into the shoes of various officers who were testifying using a combination of videos/scenarios and personal experiences. Her scenario breakdowns and discussions were able to impart a greater understanding of our roles in the courtroom and what to prepare for. If you haven’t been able to, add Jessica and this class to your calendar or you’ll be passing up an amazing opportunity for growth!
WOW! Excellent class from an excellent instructor. Makes me feel wayyyyy better as an officer in general and especially when I take the stand. Bulletproof Report Writing is primarily focused on training officers the required articulation skills that will help them construct legally defensible police reports. Officers need to produce detailed and solid statements on encounters that allow prosecutors to charge defendants without asking for follow-up information. Clear and concise, even made things fun with videos. All around excellent job and I believe it will help me throughout my career as a LEO.
This is a great class, not grammar and spelling, but real report writing. Articulation, format, using case law, and more. It is now a staple for my trainees. One day will be set aside their first month on training to take this class.

I attended the Bullet Proof Report Writing course in Henderson this week. Having never bought into the bare minimum amount of training per year, I have invested good deal of my free time taking courses over the last 30 years. I found the recent course in Henderson to one , if not the best organized and best presented, I have ever taken. I felt my time was well vested. I look forward to trying out some of the webinars next.

The book was filled with knowledge to help and understand the class and further my skills to write. The class was more based on the 4th amendment than being a better report writer.

I enjoyed all the classes by Blue To Gold so far! The deep dive into how our legal system interprets our actions and how we can better explain our actions is literal gold. The understanding the classes teach leads to a better application of the law and thus a better understanding of it as well. The way this class was taught and presented needs to be in the academy. This should be required training for Feild Training Officers teaching Officers In Training how to write reports. I had report write explained in so many different ways that I struggled to write clear and concise reports. This class is going to help improve greatly!
Report writing....I think this class had a lot of great information related to report writing. The information was easy to comprehend. I think there was a decent amount of search and seizure topics, maybe some of that can be scaled back. The book is a cherry on top! Thank you!

I just completed report writing and really good presentation and made me more confident writing a report and helped me know what to write and what the prosecutors are looking for.
