John also knew practical case law for Iowa and brought great material for future use training new officers and also as a department refresher. Great course. This was very informative.
I've been in law enforcement for 9 years now, spending the last few as an investigator. What these Blue to Gold courses are teaching me is that LEOs should be getting far more training on the law and how it can work in their favor. It's taken me this long to learn how to properly apply Miranda yet ensure that application does not destroy my investigation. Same goes for search and seizure. LEOs should be just as up to speed on case law as our DAs. This was a great course!

Amazing course. The instructor provides many details over subjects that are routine in everyday law enforcement and should be considered "Basic knowledge." but explains each topic in ways that help officers actually understand the legal reasons why they can/can't do something.
This course really enlightened me and I learned a lot of small tidbits that will help me out on the streets.

As a newer officer, this lesson answered many questions for me. Some of the information given (with case law to support) even corrects what some of my senior officers have told me is illegal (not against policy, but illegal). I would HIGHLY recommend this class to any offclicer - new, through Admin.

This 8-hour class is amazing. It is broken down into different lessons and each lesson was very informative and included case law, video break-downs/discussions and real-life scenarios. This class also has assessments after the lessons to keep the learner engaged in the class. This class is very informative and all encompassing on topics like, single purpose container doctrine, collective knowledge doctrine, how to improve your undercover investigations, use of CI's, and much more!

I just completed a two-day training in Advanced Search and Seizure and Advanced Criminal Investigations in Jackson, WY. This was by far the most entertaining and knowledgeable training I have attended in my short three years of Law Enforcement. Anthony Bandiero is very intelligent and I hope more law enforcement agencies seek him out to expand their knowledge.

I took the 4-day session including Search & Seizure, Traffic Stops/Searches, Search Warrants, and Interviews & Interrogations, and I honestly was not prepared for how much I had to learn. Being in law enforcement for 10 years and still having so many questions makes me wish I had access to or knew about this training earlier on, however I am grateful that I had the chance to take these courses! The topics are clear and relevant, the instructor (John) was relatable, funny, and extremely knowledgeable, and he was able to answer any outstanding questions I had. I am much more confident in these areas and have a greater understanding of the legal responsibilities I have in this profession and am very grateful that this training is available! VERY highly recommended!
Bulletproof Report Writing is primarily focused on training officers the required articulation skills that will help them construct legally defensible police reports. Officers need to produce detailed and solid statements on encounters that allow prosecutors to charge defendants without asking for follow-up information. The key ingredient is the power to articulate and officers will learn this vital skill.
Great course with updated material.
Always great content. Blue to Gold instructors always give great examples of what they are teaching. Although report writing isn't the most exciting topic, it's the nail in the coffin. No sense in working hard doing a good investigation and doing a bad report that gets the case tossed.

This is a great class, not grammar and spelling, but real report writing. Articulation, format, using case law, and more. It is now a staple for my trainees. One day will be set aside their first month on training to take this class.

I attended the Bullet Proof Report Writing course in Henderson this week. Having never bought into the bare minimum amount of training per year, I have invested good deal of my free time taking courses over the last 30 years. I found the recent course in Henderson to one , if not the best organized and best presented, I have ever taken. I felt my time was well vested. I look forward to trying out some of the webinars next.

The book was filled with knowledge to help and understand the class and further my skills to write. The class was more based on the 4th amendment than being a better report writer.

The way this class was taught and presented needs to be in the academy. This should be required training for Feild Training Officers teaching Officers In Training how to write reports. I had report write explained in so many different ways that I struggled to write clear and concise reports. This class is going to help improve greatly!
