After taking the CSSI course, I probably won’t take another class in the live online format like this again. The combination of an in-person class and online class made it hard to interact with the instructor effectively. Given the time provided and the vast amount of information, it seemed as if the in-person attendees had the opportunity to explore more ideas than the online folks. I was anticipating the live online to be a Zoom meeting with the instructor only speaking to the students in the Zoom call. As someone that paid for this training out of their own pocket, I was hoping for more interaction and overall better experience. As for the information provided in the course, I was impressed with the knowledge I gained in 16 hours. However, I was let down when I found, according to the syllabus, we missed modules. As someone that has to pay for training out of their own pocket, I prefer to go over on time and learn more. We did not cover Module two sections 2-8, all of module five and seven.
